Our annual fundraising event, “Pennies for Patients” (otherwise known as “Pennies for Pasta”), is upon us! The fundraising campaign will run from February 4 to February 22. During this time, students across the U.S. and Canada raise funds in honor of local patients. Last year was a very successful year with over $3,100 raised by the Intermediate School in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Funds raised for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society assist in finding cures and therapies for diseases like leukemia and lymphoma. We are so proud of the participation we received last year and cannot wait to see our students come together for this great cause!

Participation in this campaign is easy, just collect spare change! Clean out the car, check pockets on laundry day, or look under those couch cushions! Donations can be made in cash, check sent to your student’s homeroom teacher, or credit card online. Each student can set up their own online giving page that can be shared with family and friends who may reside in other states. If their online giving page collects $50+, they will receive a Hero Squad t-shirt!

We will have several fun activities that students can participate in throughout the month of February that will assist us in meeting our goal of $3,700

Students at the Intermediate building will be participating in several fun events.  Here is a list of the event schedule:
